Animals in Action

As you read this book, act out all of the “action words” with your child. For example, jump up and down together, shake your arms and legs, run around the room, flap your arms like wings, or swish them like fins. If you have a pet, encourage your child to observe it to discover other fun pet actions, such as purring, licking, rolling over, and so on.
