Sing Together
A melody can be beautiful and soothing, but adding harmony to a melody is like adding splashes of vibrant paint to a black-and-white drawing. Voices or instruments playing at the same time create chords that set mood and evoke emotion. To expose your child to harmony first hand, you might invite older children or adults to join you in singing “Row, Row, Row Your Boat” as a round.
