Children love to mimic the sounds and movements of animals. Turn this into a guessing game with your child using a variety of animals and their sounds and movements. For example, start by asking him, “How does a horse move?” and then gallop with your toddler around the room. Or ask him, “What sound does a cat make?” and answer together with a chorus of meows.
